Cinemantique Per Ivanova, само- should not have secondary stress, and идентифика́ция should be pronounced идэнт.... Also, unstressed non-palatal е shows up as [ɛ] rather than [ɨ]. Is this intentional? Benwing2 (обсуждение) 03:47, 24 мая 2017 (UTC)

Benwing2 The old edition of Avanesov's dictionary also doesn't indicate secondary stress in such words. Yeskova has made change for the 10th edition (2015)—now words with само- often have secondary stress. They always have it when there are three or more syllables between сам- and a stressed syllable (only two exception: самооблада́ние, самоотверже́ние), they never have secondary stress when there is one syllable between сам- and a stressed syllable (exception: са̀мопо́мощь). When there are two syllables, some words have secondary stress, some words have not. I think Yeskova's change is good. Reznichenko indicate it otherwise:

самосожже́ние [са — а может звучать отчетливо]… (in са а may sound distinct).
